Protective film for aluminium is applied once the visible surface has been finished and must stay clean through later work. Profiles, sheets and ACP panels face different risks, so they should not be treated as one generic product group.
A suitable aluminum surface protection film needs enough hold for processing but should still peel cleanly at the planned removal stage. Low tack can lift at cut edges or on textured coatings. Excessive tack can raise peel force after aging and increase residue risk.
