Chemically Treated PET Film is made for converting work where untreated or only corona-treated PET may not give enough bonding stability. The primer-coated surface gives the film a receptive layer while keeping the polyester base stable.
Surface tension matters, but it is not the only selection point. Treated side, ink system, adhesive type, storage time, roll direction, metal bond strength, and peel strength all affect performance.
